Nigerian gay rights activist and writer Edafe Okporo has gotten married to his lover Nick Giglio in a colorful wedding ceremony.
Recall that Edafe announced on Twitter few days ago that he was getting married to his hearttob soon and Nigerians came for him.

We’re so proud of you Edafe! Live your truth and be happy. You can always adopt from the numerous children around the world looking for parents or you can even have your own biological children through surrogacy if you want. You can deceive to have no children if you want, the world is such a wicked and terrible place for innocent children. Sometimes the best you can do for them is to not give birth to them.
He didn’t deceive any heterosexual woman, getting married to her and later leaving her heartbroken with children. Hindering her from having a stable family or meeting someone that could have loved and cherish her forever. He went for the gender he is attracted to despite the hate and discrimination on gay people. We should be proud of people like Edafe and we should encourage such act of courage and selflessness. Please stop the hate on LGBTIQ people, question these beliefs that make you ignorant and blind to the suffering of harmless people who only want to have the right to be and love freely.
