Nigerian singer, BNXN, formally known as Buju, has responded to a statement by his colleague, Ruger who claimed he was better than him musically.
KanyiDaily recalls that during an interactive session with fans on Twitter, Ruger had declared that he is better than all his peers and more specifically, Buju.
Ruger implied that Buju’s success in the music industry is tied to his collaboration with other artists including Grammy winner Burna Boy.
He wrote: “I love Buju he’s good but he’s not better than me. Everything I’ve done since the beginning was only RUGER. All my hits are JUST RUGER. I’m always proud going on stage around the world with my own hits and everyone is singing along. You see the difference?
Reacting on his Snapchat handle, BNXN made it clear that he’s not in a competition with anyone and also pointed out some facts that show that he’s a better crooner than Ruger.
He said, “I make and keep 100%, you make and keep 50% or less than that. Legends that you respect rate me and my talent over yours. You’re owing your boss money and you’re talking to a boss.”
KanyiDaily recalls that another singer, Omah Lay had also lambasted his colleagues, Ruger and Victony, for comparing their selves to him and BNXN.
