Ne-Yo’s Wife, Crystal Renay Files For Divorce, Claims He Fathered Child With Mistress

Crystal Renay, the wife of American singer, Ne-Yo, has officially filed for divorce to end their 8-year-old marriage because of irreconcilable differences.

Renay called it quits in their marriage, just three months after the couple had renewed their marriage vows in a lavish red-themed ceremony in April.

KanyiDaily recalls that the mother of three had accused Ne-Yo of being a “serial cheater” who makes several women “sell their bodies” to him unprotected.

According to court documents filed on Monday, the couple separated “on or about July 22, 2022, and since that date have continuously lived in a bona fide state of separation.”

Renay said she’s “entitled to a divorce from respondent upon the ground that the marriage is irrevocably broken with no hope for reconciliation.”

She further alleged in the document that Ne-Yo “committed the act of adultery” and “recently fathered a minor child with his paramour.”

The mother of three asked the court for primary physical custody of their children — Shaffer, 6, Roman, 3, and Isabella, 13 months — and to share joint legal custody.

Renay, who stated that she is “heartbroken and disgusted” by her husband’s acts, is also seeking temporary and permanent alimony as well as a “sufficient amount of child support.
