Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has taken to social media to announce that he featured American rapper, Rick Ross, on the remix of his song “5 Star”.
The singer, who announced the collaboration on his Instagram page, also shared a snippet of the song, revealing that it will be released on September 23.
‘5 Star’, which was released in August, sees Gold recounting his struggles with sickle cell disease, and the tribulations he endured while chasing his music career.
The Kel-P produced song serves as a follow-up to Adekunle’s 14-tracked “Catch Me If You Can” album.
In the snippet, Rick Ross could be heard delivering a smooth rap verse, adding more sauce to the already enticing 5 Star.
KanyiDaily recalls that Adekunle Gold had recently revealed that he was born with sickle cell anemia and he struggled with the painful crisis which made him plead to God to take his life at the age of 20.
