Nigerian singer and activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known by his stage name, Charly Boy has raised an alarm over the 2023 general election.
Taking to his official twitter handle on Friday evening, September 2, Charly Boy said there is danger ahead, adding that the 2023 general election may not be free and fair.
The singer also expressed fear that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may not conduct a free and fair election in 2023
The president of Our Mumu Don Do Organisation then called on the youths to resist any electoral malpractice even if it means with their blood.
He called on the public to go and read his findings on his Instagram page.
“WARNING: DANGER AHEAD.
2023 May not be free and fair,” he wrote.
“To All my Children. Wahala dey.
“Is INEC ready for a free and fair election 2023? I don’t think so. My exceptional Nigerian Youths we must resist dis even with our blood.
“Go read my findings on my Instagram page @areafada1.”
Kanyi Daily had reported that the singer issued a stern warning to INEC that it should not try or think of rigging the 2023 general election.
According to him, any attempt by INEC to rig the election would consume the country.
