Ifeanyi Ubah Assassination attack: Police storm scene as billionaire’s whereabouts still unknown, phones switched off

The Anambra State Police Command has reacted to Ifeanyi Ubah assassination attack at Enugwu Ukwu, in Njijoka Local Government area of the state.

Kanyi Daily News earlier reported that the senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was reportedly injured in an attack by heavily armed gunmen in Anambra State.

The billionaire businessman lost three police escorts and three aids.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement said:

“The Commissioner of Police Anambra State Command CP Echeng Echeng has led operatives to the scene where sporadical shootings took place in Enugwu Ukwu.

“Though the details of the incident is still sketchy, operatives are on ground there as operations is going on and the situation is being monitored.

“Further details shall be communicated please”.

Meanwhile, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s whereabouts remain unknown and all his phone numbers are switched off at the time of filing this report.
