Paul Okoye Slams Delta Police PRO For Calling Him ‘Celebrity Without Sense’

Paul Okoye of the music group, Psquare, has slammed Delta state Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Bright Edafe, for calling him a ‘celebrity without sense’.

Paul Okoye Mocks Police

The drama started on Sunday when the singer took to Instagram to state that any policeman who enters the car of a motorist is a criminal or a kidnapper.

Okoye wrote, “The only reason a policeman will stop you and enter your car is just because they are looking for an avenue to negotiate for a crime you did not commit. As long as a police man enters my car and tells me to drive…He’s a kidnapper or a criminal.”

Reacting to the post via his Twitter page, Edafe tackled the singer and likened him to some “celebrities without sense”

"use strict"; var adace_load_6a9480c3a7daf = function(){ var viewport = $(window).width(); var tabletStart = 601; var landscapeStart = 801; var tabletEnd = 961; var content = '%3Cdiv%20class%3D%22adace_adsense_6a9480c3a7bb8%22%3E%3Cscript%20async%20src%3D%22%2F%2Fpagead2.googlesyndication.com%2Fpagead%2Fjs%2Fadsbygoogle.js%22%3E%3C%2Fscript%3E%0A%09%09%3Cins%20class%3D%22adsbygoogle%22%0A%09%09style%3D%22display%3Ablock%3B%22%0A%09%09data-ad-client%3D%22ca-pub-2233808518455682%22%0A%09%09data-ad-slot%3D%221717524128%22%0A%09%09data-ad-format%3D%22auto%22%0A%09%09%3E%3C%2Fins%3E%0A%09%09%3Cscript%3E%28adsbygoogle%20%3D%20window.adsbygoogle%20%7C%7C%20%5B%5D%29.push%28%7B%7D%29%3B%3C%2Fscript%3E%3C%2Fdiv%3E'; var unpack = true; if(viewport=tabletStart && viewport=landscapeStart && viewport=tabletStart && viewport=tabletEnd){ if ($wrapper.hasClass('.adace-hide-on-desktop')){ $wrapper.remove(); } } if(unpack) { $self.replaceWith(decodeURIComponent(content)); } } if($wrapper.css('visibility') === 'visible' ) { adace_load_6a9480c3a7daf(); } else { //fire when visible. var refreshIntervalId = setInterval(function(){ if($wrapper.css('visibility') === 'visible' ) { adace_load_6a9480c3a7daf(); clearInterval(refreshIntervalId); } }, 999); }

})(jQuery);

Okoye fired back at the Police PRO on his Instagram story where he also mocked the Nigeria Police Force over their lack of hygiene and unethical methods.

He wrote, “Lol DSP… I blame us for fighting for a better life for you people. #EndSars. If to say una join us protest, una for make extra money, well paid, buy better soap and body spray so that when una enter cars e nor go get counter smells.

“Una mate dey use cars with AC and computer to get information, una do stand under sun abi suffer nor dey tire una? Pray for a good and new government to come and deliver you, people. Una own don too much.”

Paul Okoye’s post comes following the arrest of Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani for allegedly abducting and assaulting a police officer in Lagos.
