Lagos Police Arrests Five Traffic Robbers Who Attempted To Rob Motorist

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five traffic robbers who attempted to rob a motorist at Kosofe bus stop along Ikorodu Road on Thursday.

Five Traffic Robbers Arrested In Lagos

Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a terse statement on his official Twitter handle on Friday.

Hundeyin said the suspects were apprehended by the Ketu division’s patrol team.

He added that their arrest led to the arrest of two others.

According to him, the suspects range between 18 and 28 years old.

The police image maker noted that the investigation was ongoing.

“Yesterday, at about 1100hrs, five traffic robbers swooped on a motorist at Kosofe bus stop along Ikorodu Road,” Hundeyin said.

“Ketu Division’s patrol team arrested them all, leading to the arrest of two others.

“Suspects range between 18 and 28 years old.

“Investigation is ongoing.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that 3 traffic robbers were arrested by the police in the Ikorodu area of the state while attacking motorists.
