A traffic robber was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command in the early hours of Wednesday.
The spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this on his official Twitter handle.
Hundeyin said the robber was arrested by officers of the Alausa police division at Otedola bridge, shortly after robbing a motorist of his valuables.
He said dangerous objects were recovered from the robber, including a locally fabricated toy gun.
The police image maker said investigations have commenced.
He wrote, “Officers of Alausa Police Division at 2 am today arrested a traffic robber who had in his possession a locally fabricated toy gun and other dangerous items, on Otedola bridge, shortly after robbing a motorist of his valuables.
“Investigation is ongoing.”
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the Lagos state police command arrested five traffic robbers who attempted to rob a motorist.
