The lady who jumped into the Lagos Lagoon yesterday afternoon has been identified as Adetutu Adedokun, a staff of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Few weeks ago, her fiance proposed to her. According to the Uber driver who was driving her, Adetutu was having a heated argument with her fiance before she alighted from the car and jumped into the lagoon.

Adetutu Adedokun who is in her 30s is an unarmed combat instructor who decided to follow in the footsteps of her parents who also worked with the Department of State Security.

A few months ago, Ms. Adedokun received a letter of commendation from the Director General of DSS as the best-unarmed combat operative in her set.
