Funke Akindele Reacts As Ruth Kadiri Endorses Her Ahead Of Lagos Governorship Elections

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has appreciated her colleague, Ruth Kadiri for endorsing her political bid.

KanyiDaily recalls that Funke Akindele emerged as the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos.

Ahead of the election on Saturday, Ruth Kadiri took to her Instagram page to reveal why Lagosians should vote for Funke in the March 11th poll.

She wrote: “It’s election season! And @funkejenifaakindele is my candidate.
Reasons been. You’re hardworking, You’re smart, You’re tough, You’re emotional
Above all you’re disciplined, You dare to tread where others won’t fly. You’re a risk taker. I know you’re a film maker. I trust you will do a good job. YOU HAVE MY VOTE❤️👏”.

Reacting to the endorsement, Funke took to the comment section of Ruth’s post to express her gratitude for the support. “Thank you Ruth,” she wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that Funke Akindele and the governorship candidate, Olajide Adediran, fondly called Jandor, had also begged Lagosians to vote for them in Saturday’s guber election.
