JUST IN: PDP Youth Group Wants Immediate Review Of 2023 Election Performance

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth group, known as The PDP Young Democrats want an immediate review of the party’s performance in the 2023 general election across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

The group also called on the acting National Chairman of the party, Umar Damagum, to convene, without further delay, a National Executive Committee meeting to resolve outstanding issues affecting the party.

The Spokesperson for the group, Alaibi Joseph, made the call on Friday while addressing journalists in Abuja.

Alaibi also demanded asked that the PDP National Secretary, Sen Samuel Anyanwu, who earlier in the week emerged as the party’s governorship candidate in Imo State, resign with immediate effect.

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State’s endorsement of his tribesman, Ahmed Ododo who is also the Auditor General of the state as his preferred governorship candidate in today’s guber primary is generating reactions on Twitter.

Bello, who is rounding up two terms of 8 years in January 2024, endorsed his fellow tribesman to succeed him.
