“He Won’t Deliver” – Spyro Reveals Why He Can’t Collaborate With Portable [Video]

Nigerian singer, Spyro has opened up about his reluctance to collaborate with street-pop artist Portable, stating that they have distinct musical styles that do not align.

Spyro, who disclosed this during a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos, said a collaboration between him and Portable seems unlikely due to the disparity in their musical trajectories.

The “Who is Your Guy” crooner explained that if he were to write a song for Portable, it wouldn’t resonate well with his style and the former might struggle to deliver it effectively.

When asked about artistes he would not write a song for, Spyro said: “Not because I have an issue with him but because our paths don’t cross and our kind of music don’t align; it’s Portable.

“It can’t work. He wouldn’t even be able to deliver the kind of music that I will write for him because it is not his style,” he added.

Nonetheless, Spyro acknowledged Portable’s talent as a good singer.

He said, “I think Portable is good, funny enough. It is intentional when people do the kind of music Portable does. It is pretty much intentional.”
