A man believed to a a die-hard fan of Afrobeats superstar, Wizkid, has inked a permanent tattoo on his leg to honor the singer’s late mother, Mrs Jane Balogun.

KanyiDaily recalls that a close associate of Wizkid confirmed the sorrowful news of his mother’s passing after a brief illness in the early hours of Friday, August 18, 2023.

Following her death, many Nigerian celebrities including Davido extended their condolences and prayed that Wizkid overcomes sadness as a result of his mum’s death.

Burna Boy also acknowledged the depth of Wizkid’s grief and empathized with his feelings, recognizing the profound sorrow of losing a beloved mother.

Amidst the tributes, a trending photograph showed a fan who tattooed the date of the sad incident on his thigh to show solidarity with Wizkid in this trying time.

The tattoo’s photo has gone viral on social media and attracted a lot of reactions from online users, many of which were negative with heavy criticism.
