Yvonne Nelson Almost Made Me Lose My Girlfriend With Her Allegations – Iyanya

Nigerian singer, Iyanya has revealed that he almost lost his relationship following a recent allegation by his former Ghanaian girlfriend, actress Yvonne Nelson.

KanyiDaily recalls that on June 18, 2023, the actress published a book titled “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” in which she detailed how Iyanya cheated on her with actress Tonto Dikeh.

In the wake of the ‘allegation,’ Iyanya swore to share his side of the story but made a U-turn days later, stressing that he would be criticized for slut-shaming Yvonne Nelson if he were to speak on their failed relationship.

During his recent appearance on the latest episode of the “Tea With Tay” podcast, hosted by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, popularly known as Taymesan, the singer said that the actress almost cost him his current relationship.

According to him, a person he was interested in dating started to have second thoughts about having a relationship with him after the book was released.

He said, “That stuff [Yvonne Nelson’s allegations] is crazy, bro. That stuff almost made me lose a relationship. A current relationship.

“Before this book [Yvonne Nelson’s memoir], I was talking to one innocent girl who is not famous but immediately that book came out, everything became shaky. The girl was feeling like, ‘Omo, this guy, have you changed? Are you sure you won’t do me the same?’”

KanyiDaily recalls that blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus revealed that Tonto Dikeh never dated Iyanya. She also accused Yvonne Nelson of becoming pregnant and having a child with her friend’s husband, whom she later cheated on with another man.
