Doyin, who is the current head of the house, stated this after Ilebaye and another housemate, Whitemoney clashed over the use of the sound system provided for a wager.
The conflict began when Whitemoney turned off the sound system due to the late hour, and Ilebaye subsequently turned it back on and increased the volume.
Whitemoney accused her of trying to disturb others with the loud music at an inappropriate time and asked her to lower the volume.
In her response, Ilebaye expressed her desire to write a song and felt that her creative pursuits were being disregarded.
After the clash and Ilebaye’s tears, Doyin engaged in a discussion with fellow housemate Cross in the Head of House washroom.
During their conversation, Doyin shared her belief that Ilebaye had been manipulating the situation and playing the role of a victim in an attempt to garner favor among Nigerians and secure the cash prize.
She said, “Ilebaye has been playing a game. Watch her videos from Level Up season, she’s not the same person. When i realized her game, i felt so stupid.
“But it’s too late, the viewers would have given the money to her. Whitemoney was the first person to tell it to me but i called it bluff. We’ve all been fooled.”
In his response, Cross said: “How did we not see it?”
KanyiDaily recalls that Cross had taken a stand in defense of Ilebaye after she was accused of disrespect by their colleague, Alex Unusual.
