Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie claims he is the mastermind behind the viral slogan “No Gree For Anybody.”
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Yul Edochie acknowledged that he repeatedly received information attributing the creation of the viral slogan to him.
The movie star revealed that many people pointed out a post he shared on Instagram and Facebook on December 29, 2023, as the origin of the slogan.
Intrigued by these claims, he took it upon himself to investigate the matter and verify the authenticity of the assertions surrounding the catchphrase’s inception.
He wrote, “People have been telling me that it was Yul Edochie who started the slogan ‘NO GREE FOR ANYBODY.’ They said it came from a post I made on the 29th of December, 2023, on Instagram and Facebook, from there it went viral. I have investigated the matter. E be like na true oo. So make una dey give me my credit oo. 🕺🕺🕺”
KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie said that when people insult him online, he’ll either ignore them entirely or respond with intensity, giving back ten times more.
