Messi speaks ahead of ‘last’ game against Ronaldo
Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has stated that he “can’t wait” for his ‘Last Dance’ with longtime rival Cristiano Ronaldo as they prepare to face Al-Nassr.
The Riyadh Cup will pit top MLS and Saudi Pro League clubs against each other.
Inter Miami is scheduled to face Al-Hilal in the friendly tournament.
But the meeting between Messi and Ronaldo is generating the greatest buzz.
The match will be played on February 1 and could be the final encounter between two all-time greats who have 13 Ballons d’Or between them.
Messi made the following statement on social media: “I can’t wait to be part of #RiyadhSeasonCup with my team Inter Miami CF as we face top Saudi clubs in a historic championship.”
