“He’s My Guy” – Basketmouth Reveals Why He Mocked Wizkid During Davido’s Wedding [Video]

Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth has revealed why he mocked Afrobeats star, Wizkid during the traditional wedding of his colleague, Davido, a few weeks ago.

KanyiDaily recalls that afrer Davido’s pre-wedding photos were shared online, Wizkid drew attention with some cryptic tweets.

However, Basketmouth responded by saying that Wizkid’s posts were unnecessary since Davido’s wedding was already trending on social media.

In a recent video, Basketmouth revealed that he intentionally referenced Wizkid in his tweet as a marketing strategy, knowing it would create a buzz.

He said: “Wizkid is my guy, what I did was a marketing technique, I knew it was edgy, it would get people talking and it did what I expected it to do, it worked in my favour”
