Lil Durk’s 10-Year-Old Son ‘Shoots Stepfather To Protect His Mother During Domestic Dispute’

The 10-year-old son of American rapper Lil Durk shot his stepfather, Joshua Pippens, during a domestic dispute involving the child’s mother.

Surveillance footage shows the boy taking a gun from Joshua Pippens and firing at him.

In the video, Pippens, wearing an orange shirt, is seen trying to restrain the child’s mother, who is in purple.

The child, dressed in red, points the gun at Pippens and fires as the argument continues in the middle of the street.

Pippens falls to the ground after being hit during the incident which happened on July 1.

Speaking from his hospital bed, Pippens claimed he wasn’t the aggressor and that the boy acted on his mother’s orders.

He explained that the child took the gun from his hip and shot him while he was trying to defend himself.

“As y’all can see, I was not the aggressor, and y’all also can see how I still had my gun on my hip.

“He grabbed my gun off my hip following his mom’s lead and tried to shoot me, and then actually shot me. I advise y’all to see it before they take it down #buildawareness,” Pippens captioned the clip

Pippens expressed disbelief that the boy he supported would do this, but said he still loves him.

“I never in a million years thought a kid I bought 4 wheelers and paid for football leagues and everything would do this but he only knows what mom shows him,’ Pippens said. ‘I still love him like he’s mine.”

Pippens also spoke about the incident on his Instagram Story. “Whatever makes y’all feel better,” he wrote. “That’s why I got custody of my kids and she doesn’t. Y’all so internet.

“Thank God it was me that took the shot and not her. That’s still my daughters’ mom, but she knows like I know. GOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD TO ME. SURVIVOR,” he added.

He suggested the fight was over custody issues and mentioned he has custody of his own children.

“Listen, nobody is going to jail or they would already be there. I’m doing this for rights over my kids. Call me what y’all want.

“And on top of that, this was at my momma’s, in front of my momma, granny, and more kids. I pray y’all make it through y’all situation that God gon’ put y’all through for playing with me,’ Pippens added.

“I pray y’all favorite rapper takes custody of Romeo and I get full custody of mines call me what y’all wanna call me. It’s bout the kids at the end of the day. I can’t help y’all just now find out that’s his daddy.

“Y’all should’ve been on her side when she was on this mufucka going hard to prove herself. Iykyk I was that boy daddy he called me daddy for 7 years since he was 3 weeks I been in his life.”

So far, Lil Durk, who has 10 children, has not commented or released a statementon the incident.
