Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has come to the defense of Nigerian music icon, 2Face Idibia, who has been facing backlash over his decision to separate from his wife, Annie Idibia.

Since 2Face publicly announced their separation, social media users have criticized him, arguing that the timing was insensitive since Annie is reportedly undergoing treatment in rehab.

In response, Yul Edochie took to his Facebook page to express his support for the singer while calling out those meddling in the situation.

The movie star made it clear that the opinions of online commentators hold no weight in matters that do not concern them.

“Anybody insulting 2Baba or calling him out because of his family matter that does not concern you, THUNDER FIRE YOU!!!” he wrote.
