Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez have finally set plans for their wedding, two years after getting engaged.
The couple announced their engagement in May 2023 when Bezos proposed with a massive pink diamond ring—so large that Sanchez later admitted she “nearly blacked out” upon seeing it.
That summer, they celebrated their engagement with a lavish party aboard Bezos’ superyacht, with high-profile guests like Bill Gates, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kris Jenner in attendance.
There were earlier speculations about a “winter wonderland wedding” scheduled for December 28 in Aspen, but the date passed without an event.
However, a source close to the couple confirmed to “Daily Mail” that the wedding is still happening and is now planned for summer 2025, stressing that invitations are expected to go out soon.
Sanchez has reportedly chosen a wedding dress from Oscar de la Renta and previously revealed she will take Bezos’ last name, stating, “One hundred percent. I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos.”
Speaking about her fiancé, Lauren Sanchez described Bezos as “the most loving human” who makes her a better person every day.
“He’s so happy, he inspires me every day. He makes me a better person every day. He’s the most loving human I know,” Sanchez gushes about Bezos in an old interview.
Jess Bezos, in turn, has praised Sanchez as “the most generous, big-hearted person” and emphasized how well they complement each other as a team.
“Lauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet… She never misses a birthday.
“The network of people that she gives birthday presents to is gigantic. And that’s just a small example,” he told CNN.
KanyiDaily recalls that Jeff Bezos, 61, was previously married to novelist MacKenzie Scott for 25 years, and they share four children.
