Taking to his Instagram on March 6, 2025, Mr Eazi shared a message alongside a photo of himself and his late mother, expressing gratitude for her love, sacrifices, and the values she instilled in him.
The singer described her as his strongest protector, most honest critic, and biggest supporter.
He wrote, “Thank you, Mummy, For your strength, your sacrifices, and your unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God. For teaching me confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family.
“You were my greatest protector, my toughest critic, and my truest Fan. You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.”
Several of Mr Eazi’s colleagues in the entertainment industry also took to the comment section of his post to offer their condolences and share comforting words during his time of grief.
KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Eazi recently shared his resilience and indifference toward financial struggles, stressing that because he’s experienced being broke so often, it no longer scares him.
