In a social media post, Yul Edochie stressed that people were misled into abandoning their traditional beliefs after being told they were evil.
The actor said he has discovered the truth and feels a duty to help others realize this and reconnect with their roots.
He wrote, “The God Christians worship is the same God Igbo Traditionalists worship. The only difference is the style of worship.
“They deceived us for decades, making us believe our ways are evil so we will abandon our ways and practice theirs. I thank God for revealing the whole truth to me. And I’ll keep speaking the truth so my people can wake up from their slumber.”
