KanyiDaily recalls that Chris Brown was charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm over an alleged attack that happened at a nightclub in central London on February 19, 2023.

While London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed they arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with the case on May 15, 2025, they did not specifically name Chris Brown in their statement.

Following his arraignment on Friday, May 16, a Manchester Magistrates’ Court ruled that the singer will remain in custody until his next court hearing on June 13.

The development has cast doubt on his European tour plans, including sold-out performances in the Netherlands and Germany on June 8 and 11.

KanyiDaily recalls that Chris Brown recently filed a $500 million lawsuit against a film studio, Warner Bros, over a documentary released last year which included accusations of sexual assault.
