The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB Releases 2025 UTME Results, Withholds 39,834 Others

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Friday, JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, said that more than 1.9 million candidates took the exam nationwide.

Oloyede, however, noted that the results of 39,834 candidates are being withheld due to suspected exam malpractice.

Oloyede added that 80 people are currently under investigation for various forms of cheating during the exam.

According to him, Anambra State had the highest number of suspects, with 14 individuals being questioned.

He also revealed that 467 candidates under the required age still managed to score above the cut-off mark, and 50 candidates have so far been identified as being involved in exam misconduct.

KanyiDaily recalls that JAMB recently arrested 27 people who tried to impersonate candidates during the 2025 UTME Examination.
