Nigerian singer 2Face Idibia has publicly apologized to his wife, Natasha Osawaru, their children, and his fans for a controversial comment he made about men and monogamy.
During a podcast appearance, 2face recently stirred reactions when he said that men aren’t naturally wired to be with just one woman sexually.
“A man is not built to sexu@lly be with one woman. A man can love one woman d!e, but it’s impossible for a man to sexu@lly be with one woman only. It’s the biology of man,” he said
His comments drew mixed reactions online, with some people describing it as an excuse for infidelity, while others defended it as a blunt take on male nature.
However, 2Face has now backtracked in a new video, admitting it was wrong and publicly apologized for making the statement, expressing regret to his wife, kids, and fans.
“I know I fvcked up with what I said and I know I’m going to get cancelled because of it. I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am” he said.
