Poco Lee’s Friends Confirms His Release From UK Prison After Weeks In Detention
Nigerian dancer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has reportedly regained his freedom after spending several weeks in detention in the United Kingdom.

KanyiDaily recalls that Poco Lee had been facing five sexual offence charges in the UK, including two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
People close to the dancer announced his reported release on Friday night via social media posts.
They claimed that the lady who filed the case against him had decided to withdraw the complaint.
An associate of Burna Boy also described the allegations against Poco Lee as false while confirming that the dancer had been released.
The associate said Burna Boy and fellow entertainer Rahman Jago played a role behind the scenes in efforts to secure Poco Lee’s freedom.
“Poco Lee is now released. All thanks to Burna Boy and Rahman Jago for working tirelessly behind the scenes,” the associate wrote on X.
Streamer and content creator Peller also discussed the development during a livestream.
He claimed that the woman who filed the case had dropped the allegations against Poco Lee.
“The girl who sued Poco Lee over alleged offences has abandoned the case. God bless the girl; she is a good person,” Peller stated.
Poco Lee’s reported release follows his arrest and detention in the UK over the sexual offence allegations.
He was formally charged at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London with five offences. The charges include two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
The alleged incidents were said to have occurred in Tower Hamlets, east London, on July 23. Poco Lee initially appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 18 before the matter was moved to Snaresbrook Crown Court.
The court had scheduled September 15, 2026, for a plea and trial-preparation hearing.
Poco Lee travelled to the UK earlier in August to attend the Davido and Friends concert at Crystal Palace Bowl before his detention.
Throughout the legal proceedings, he remained presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
However, claims that Poco Lee has been released and that the complainant has withdrawn the case had not been independently verified by the UK court at the time of filing this report.
