Davido Offers To Build Shop For Female Fan After Threatening To Unfollow Her

Afrobeats superstar Davido has offered to build a shop for a devoted female fan who runs a hair business, following a brief misunderstanding online.

The fan, known as Divaberry on X (formerly Twitter), had earlier promoted her wig business while proudly identifying herself as a loyal Davido supporter.

Her post came shortly after an online clash involving Davido and trolls linked to his longtime rival, Wizkid.

Amid the drama, Divaberry tried to calm the situation by advising Davido to ignore the insults, claiming the troll was only after his attention.

But Davido didn’t take it lightly and responded angrily, warning that he might start unfollowing some of his fans.

Realizing she may have upset him, Divaberry quickly apologized and pleaded with him not to unfollow her.

To her surprise, Davido replied to the tweet with a generous offer. He asked her to send him a direct message, saying he wanted to help build her a shop.

“Lets build you a new shop … dm me,” he wrote.

She followed his instructions and later shared a screenshot of their private chat, showing Davido asking for the cost of setting up a shop and requesting her account details.

Overwhelmed with excitement, Divaberry wrote: “I’m so grateful 🥹 so finally I will own a shop and my idolo @davido is building me one 💯💯🙏🏽🙏🏽

I loved you from the very moment I heard your song🫢 have been a fan since 2011, you were the one fifth person I followed on here!! My idolo you no go jam yawa🙏🏽🙏🏽”
