Earlier that day, President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu welcomed the team at the Presidential Banquet Hall, praising their outstanding achievement.
During the event, President Tinubu awarded each player the sum of $100,000 and a national honour.
The technical crew also received $50,000 each, and everyone including players and staff were given a three-bedroom apartment in the Renewed Hope Estate.
