“You Were Born A Man And Will Die A Man” – Candace Owens Responds To Macron’s Defamation Lawsuit

Conservative media personality Candace Owens has fired back after being hit with a defamation lawsuit by French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron.

KanyiDaily recalls that the couple sued Candace Owens on Wednesday in Delaware Superior Court over her repeated claims in online videos that France’s First Lady was born male.

The lawsuit accused Owens of launching a campaign of global humiliation and relentless bullying based on a conspiracy theory that Brigitte Macron, 72, was born as Jean-Michel Trogneux.

The suit charges Owens with 22 counts of defamation for publishing a video in March of 2025 titled “Is France’s First Lady a Man?” Several other videos followed, including a multi-part series.

The couple said the ongoing accusations have hurt their reputation and cost them financially through lost business opportunities. They are seeking punitive damages.

Reacting to the lawsuit in a video posted on her YouTube channel, Candace Owens stood by her statements, saying she’s ready to take the fight to court.

“You were born a man and you will die a man. That’s the point I’m making. So give us a sample. I’ll send my doctors to take your blood. We’ll get to the bottom of it,” she said.
