A 26-year-old Nigerian man, Ayowale Aledejana, was stabbed to death at a home in New Cross, south-east London.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called to Monson Road around 7:26 p.m. on Saturday after receiving reports of a man with stab wounds.
Paramedics and medics from the London Air Ambulance responded to the scene along with police, but sadly, Aledejana was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family of the deceased, who lived in South Norwood, Croydon, are currently being supported by specially trained officers.
The incident took place directly across from the old Duke of Albany pub, a location made famous in the 2004 movie Shaun of the Dead.
A police forensics tent was set up outside the terraced house, and flowers have been laid by mourners at the scene.
Two people, a 23-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Lucie Card, who is leading the investigation, offered condolences to the victim’s loved ones and assured the public that detectives are working quickly to understand what happened.
He said: “Our thoughts are with Ayowale’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“I understand this incident will be concerning and we are carrying out a fast-paced and thorough investigation to establish the circumstances.
“I would encourage anyone who has not yet spoken to us to do so.
“Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 6271/02AUG.”
