Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has joined Turkish football giants Galatasaray on a permanent deal worth €75 million.
The club confirmed the transfer on Thursday, revealing that Osimhen has left Napoli where he was under contract and signed a four-year deal with the reigning Turkish champions.
“Regarding the transfer of professional footballer Victor James Osimhen, an agreement has been reached with his club, SSCN Napoli SPA.
“In this context, a net transfer fee of €75,000,000 will be paid to the player’s former club,” Galatasaray posted on social media.
As part of the new deal, the 26-year-old will earn €15 million annually. He’ll also pocket a €1 million loyalty bonus and receive €5 million for image rights.
Galatasaray also revealed that Napoli will receive 10% of the profit if Osimhen is sold in the future.
Another clause in the deal bars him from returning to any Serie A club within the next two years.

Reacting to the move, Osimhen expressed his excitement and pride about staying at Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan.
Victor Osimhen said he was “feeling truly great right now” during an interview with the club’s website.
“I’m so happy to be a part of the Galatasaray family again. First of all, I want to thank my President and Vice President. We have a very positive team right now.
“I’m so proud to be here. You know my quality from last season. I believe that next season, with the quality of both myself and my teammates, we will achieve even greater success with a much greater sense of belonging.
“We will give our all on the pitch, not only in the league and cup, but also in the Champions League, one of our main goals.”
Osimhen was a key figure for Galatasaray last season, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 matches. His contributions helped the team secure both the league title and domestic cup.
This transfer finally puts an end to a long-running saga between Osimhen and Napoli, whose relationship soured in recent years.
He was even left out of Napoli squad at the beginning of last season before he joined Galatasaray on a loan deal.
