The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won another council chairmanship in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) elections.

Daniel Nuhu, the APC candidate, won the Kwali Area Council election with 17,032 votes. He defeated Haruna Pai of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who came second with 8,575 votes.
The results were announced Sunday morning by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) presiding officer at Kwali’s final collation centre.
This win increases APC’s lead in the FCT council elections. The party had already secured two other chairmanship positions, giving it control of three out of the four councils declared so far.
Previously, APC candidates won in AMAC and Bwari, while PDP took the Gwagwalada chairmanship.
KanyiDaily recently reported how Joshua Ishaku of the APC was declared the winner of the Bwari Area Council chairmanship election in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
