The moment happened after Galatasaray’s dramatic 7–5 aggregate win over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League knockout playoffs on Wednesday.

Henry, who was working as a pundit for CBS, was interviewing Osimhen after the thrilling encounter.

Osimhen scored one of the key goals in extra time that secured Galatasaray’s place in the next round of the competition — their first appearance at that stage in 12 years.

The Turkish side had taken control with a 5–2 win in the first leg, but they struggled in the return leg, allowing Juventus to score three times and force the game into extra time.

Galatasaray eventually found the net twice during the added period to confirm their qualification.

Before diving into match analysis, Henry surprised viewers by greeting Osimhen in Pidgin English.

Victor, this is Thierry. First and foremost, how bodi? Bodi dey?” he said.

Osimhen laughed at Henry’s attempt and responded, “Yeah, bodi dey fine.”

The interview then continued with a breakdown of the game.

Henry previously played alongside Nwankwo Kanu at Arsenal between 1999 and 2004.

He has often praised Kanu, as well as Jay-Jay Okocha, whom he faced several times in the English Premier League.

In 2017, Henry visited Lagos, where he was honored with the traditional title “Igwe of football.”
