In a video shared online, Adeleke University complained about the conditions in which they live and study on campus, saying the situation does not match the high tuition fees they are required to pay.
An unnamed student alleged that those enrolled at the private university pay at least ₦2.5 million each year, yet still struggle with basic facilities.
The student claimed that essential services like water and electricity are not always available, which makes it hard for students to attend classes or go about their daily routines.
The video also alleged that the quality of food and the medical services provided by the school are inadequate for students who depend on the institution for these needs.
The student said these problems have continued for some time and affect many people on campus.
It was further claimed that a number of students are afraid to speak publicly about the issues because they fear being punished by the school authorities.
The complainant appealed to Davido, asking him to bring the complaints to the attention of his father, Adedeji Adeleke, who founded the university.
The caption reads, “Adeleke university with suffering and smiling. They pay nothing less than 2.5million per year to be constantly treated like an1m&l$.
“Students can’t make it to class because something as simple as water, light, they can’t provide for them, their food and medical system is bad and every student is so scared to speak out because they expel them the moment they do. Davido please talk to your dad.”
