Perez Hilton Hospitalized After Harming Himself In Disturbing TikTok Livestream

American blogger Perez Hilton was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after emergency responders were called to his home in Florida following a disturbing TikTok livestream.

According to the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received several calls from viewers who became worried after watching the livestream, which appeared to show Hilton harming himself.

After the livestream ended, disturbing videos that seemed to show him covered in blood spread across social media.

When deputies arrived at the home, they found Perez Hilton alone inside.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said officers are trained to carefully handle situations involving people experiencing a mental health crisis.

“In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication,” the spokesperson for the MDCSO said.

“Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilizing crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public,”

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue assisted deputies in taking Perez Hilton to a nearby hospital, where he received medical treatment.

Members of the Crisis Response Unit and licensed mental health professionals were also present to support his family and provide assistance.

A representative for Perez Hilton has not yet responded to requests for comment on the incident.
