It was gathered that residents and visitors were unable to access the street as the anti-graft agency mounted a heavy security presence.

According to Channels TV, the EFCC said its action was backed by a valid court order, stressing that it was carried out within the law.

The move follows recent actions by security agencies targeting properties linked to the former minister in Abuja.

Just a day earlier, EFCC operatives had marked the house for forfeiture.
