Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has revealed how she wants people to describe her.

Since her failed marriage to legendary singer 2face, whose real name is Innocent Idibia, many online users have referred to her as a single mother.

The actress has shared several emotional and reflective posts over the past year, sparking conversations about her personal life.

In a recent update on her Instagram Story, Annie made it clear that she does not agree with that label.

According to her, there is a difference between being called a single mum and being described as a single woman raising children.

The actress wrote, “I’m not a single mum. I’m a single woman raising two kids.”

Her post comes more than a year after 2face Idibia confirmed in January 2025 that they had separated and filed for divorce, bringing his marriage with Annie Idibia to an end.
