Veekee James Welcomes First Child With Husband Femi Atere [Video]

Nigerian fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have welcomed their first child together.

The excited mother announced the news on Instagram, where she shared a video showing her husband carrying their newborn baby.

Veekee James revealed that they welcomed the baby girl named Eliana on May 2, 2026, while expressing gratitude to God for the gift.

“She’s here @elianaatere. 02-May-26 Eliana Adeife Atere. El (God) and Ana (he answered) signifying ‘My God has answered’.

” 1 Samuel 1:27 – ‘For this child I prayed and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him’.”, she wrote.

Following the announcement, fans, friends, and colleagues flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages for the couple.

This comes three months after Veekee James and Femi Atere announced they are expecting their first child.
