Priscilla Ojo’s Husband Juma Jux Denies Fathering A Child With Tanzanian Woman

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, who is married to Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, has denied claims that he fathered a child with a Tanzanian woman.

The controversy resurfaced after the woman allegedly linked to the paternity dispute appealed to a Tanzanian government minister for help in getting a DNA test.

In a public message, the woman addressed Dr Dorothy Onesphoro Gwajima, Tanzania’s Minister of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, as “my mother.”

She said no woman wants to become a single mother and called for a DNA test to determine the truth about the child’s paternity.

According to her, the test would resolve the disagreement and establish who was telling the truth.

“The solution to the issue between me and the artist JUMA JUX is that I am asking that we do a DNA test. I am asking you, my mother, because that is the only way we can establish the truth and determine who is lying in this story,” the woman said.

She also appeared to send a message to Jux, insisting that the outcome of a DNA test would settle the matter.

“The DNA will decide, and the truth will always be proven. A mother knows the father of her child,” she wrote.

Jux, however, has rejected the allegation, saying he is taking legal steps to protect his reputation.

In a statement written in Swahili, the singer described the claims as false and damaging to his name, family and business interests.

Jux said he initially decided not to respond because he expected the allegation to fade away.

However, after the story began attracting renewed attention, he decided to address it publicly.

The singer said he had previously contacted the woman to clarify the allegations, and she told him directly that they had never had a romantic or sexual relationship.

Juma Jux also claimed that the woman advised him at the time not to pay attention to the matter.

Jux said that because the allegations have now resurfaced and taken a new turn, he has handed the matter over to the appropriate legal authorities.

He further criticised the spread of unverified claims and urged journalists and members of the public to establish the facts before sharing such reports.

The singer warned that anyone who links his name, family or businesses to allegations he considers false could face legal consequences.

“This matter has come up before, and because I am certain that these reports have no truth to them, I took the step of contacting the person involved myself to understand why she had previously made the statements she made.

“Musika confirmed in her own words and voice that she had never been physically intimate with me nor had a romantic relationship with me, and even asked me not to give the matter any weight.

“Since these allegations have now resurfaced and taken a different direction, the matter is now in the hands of the legal authorities and further action will be taken against Musika.

“I also urge the media and various individuals to refrain from spreading misleading information without being certain of the facts.”

“Anyone who chooses to associate my name, my family, or my businesses with false allegations must be prepared to be held accountable according to the law.

“I have chosen peace, truth, and the appropriate legal action,” he wrote, closing with the words:
