2023: Deji Adeyanju Blasts Abia And Enugu Governors For Not Supporting Peter Obi

The convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju has slammed Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and his Abia State counterpart, Okezie Ikpeazu, for not supporting Igbo Presidency.

Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi And Okezie Ikpeazu Called Out

In a post shared on his Twitter page, the activist expressed disappointment that Ugwuanyi and Ikpeazu are not supporting the former governor of Anambra and presidential aspirant, Peter Obi.

He added that if Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State was still in PDP, he won’t act like them, noting that the Igbos have sacrificed everything for other zones.

Adeyanju recounted how the Igbos voted Yorubas in the past and supported the North and South, but now the governors are now refusing to back South-East presidency.

He said; “PDP PRIMARIES: What kind of Igbos are this? Both Abia and Enugu governors are not supporting one of their own contesting for president. I’m sure if Umahi was still in PDP, he won’t act like them. Igbos have sacrificed everything for other zones.

“They voted Yorubas in the past, supported North & South-South, now that it is time to stand with them; even their own governors are not doing so.”
