“You Can Only Be A Mother” – Ruby Ojiakor And Junior Pope Clashes Over Her Father’s Day Post

Nollywood actress, Ruby Ojiakor has found herself engaged in a heated exchange with her colleague, Junior Pope over her Father’s Day message.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Ruby Ojiakor wished herself a happy Father’s Day, acknowledging the challenges she has faced and expressing gratitude to God for everything.

Sharing a video with her 8-year-old daughter, she wrote: “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO ME”!! IT HASNT BEEN EASY WORLD” Bt in allll| we give thanks to the ALMIGHTY. Thank You Jesus Christ for everything. HER ROYAL MAJESTY” @princess_royalty”

Reacting to the post, Junior Pope commended Ruby for her parental duties but felt a bit uneasy with her referring to herself as a father. He wrote, “RUBY (father)??? Anyways you are doing a great job.”

Feeling hurt by his comment, Ruby Orjiakor responded by expressing her disappointment and called his comment disgusting. She emphasized that she would never do the same to him and questioned his audacity to make such a remark, considering he knows the challenges she has faced and continues to face.

She wrote: “How can you of all people that knows everything I went through Nd still going through drop this disgusting comment??? I willI never do it to you Nd you know it”

Junior Pope then attempted to explain the importance of the child’s biological father in her life, stating that while Ruby can be a great mother, she cannot fulfill the role of a father.

He emphasized the distinction between a father and a parent, urging her to understand that her child will someday be united with her father.

The actor wrote: “You can only be her mother never her father , someday she will be United with her father …. There is a difference between a father and a parent.

“Feel free to look it up…He is not a parent because he did not partake in raising her but he is still her father and still very mush alive… ( His sperm) Let’s not all be too quick to copy the white man .. “

But Ruby found it unacceptable for him to question her about her child. She expressed her disbelief and stated that his comment made her feel unsafe and unliked. She questioned his audacity to assume he could bring them together and requested him to leave her page.

She wrote: “l’m trying to hold my patience Bt it’s obvious you know exactly what u’re doing”… Now I know nobody likes me” because if you” that I respect somuch will drop this deviliŞh comment here” it means I’m no longer safe”
