Damilola Adeniyi Adegeye, daughter of legendary juju musician King Sunny Ade, has raised an alarm, accusing her stepbrother Dayo of holding their father against his will.

In a series of Instagram story, Damilola claimed that her 78-year-old father has been “kidnapped” by Dayo, who also works as his manager.
She also named Dayo’s mother, two brothers—Demola and Kenny—and the family driver, Ade, as being involved.
“King Sunny Ade has been kidnapped. The manager (Dayo) is the culprit along with his mother, brothers (Demola and Kenny) and his driver Ade,” she wrote.
According to her, the family doesn’t know where King Sunny Ade is, and despite Dayo’s claims that his location is known, Damilola insists he’s hiding the truth.
She expressed frustration that those around her father are not being transparent, adding, “This has shown me who they are, and these are the ones that my dad is around.
“But no one knows his whereabouts in the family and everyone is looking for him, yet these guys are not telling us where he is but say everyone knows.
“Hmmm, very funny. Come read this with me. Real stuff is coming out now!’ she added.
Damilola, who lives in the UK, further alleged that King Sunny Ade is being forced to keep working even at his age and that the family isn’t seeing any financial benefits from it.
She called on Dayo to stop booking shows and let their father rest.
“King Sunny Ade, my dad, has been kidnapped and is working under duress. Emergency!” she wrote.
“Bro D, stop booking the shows and let him rest, so he can take care of his family. He keeps working, but the family is not seeing the money!
“I need the Nigerian police. My dad, King Sunny Ade, has been kidnapped. Please don’t book him now. He is working under duress!”

KanyiDaily recalls that King Sunny Ade (KSA) was recently called out by a 51-year-old woman, Elizabeth Temitope Ayeni, who claims he is her biological father.
