Five African Migrants, Including Two Nigerians, Arrested For Gang-Raping Tourist In Italy
Five African migrants, including two Nigerians, have been arrested in Rome over the alleged abduction and repeated sexual assault of a female tourist.

It was gathered that the victim, a 32-year-old woman from Colombia, arrived in the city on May 9, 2026.
After going out alone for dinner near Termini Station, she was reportedly approached by a man who persuaded her to follow him under the pretext of selling drugs.
They walked for some time before she was taken to a van and then moved to an abandoned building on the eastern side of the city.
Authorities say the building was occupied by several undocumented migrants, and five men are accused of holding her there for about three days, during which she was repeatedly assaulted, threatened, and drugged.
She was allegedly gang-raped several times by the five during the 72 hours she was held in the building on Via Cesare Tallone, in Tor Cervara.
The suspects also allegedly took her phone, wallet, and left her half-naked.
She later managed to escape in a distressed condition and was helped by an Italian man, who took her to a nearby hospital where she received treatment.
Medical checks confirmed signs of abuse and indicated she had been under the influence of substances.
Police launched a swift investigation, leading to a raid on the building involving multiple units, including forensic teams and immigration officials.
During the operation, several undocumented migrants were found at the location.
The five men arrested were Saidykhan Lamin, 29, and Karamba Kanteh, 38, from Gambia; Harouna Traore, a 43-year-old Malian, Isibor Wisdom, 29, and Paul Nwabueze, 39, from Nigeria.
They are facing charges related to abduction and sexual assault, with authorities noting that the victim was in a vulnerable state during the incident.
Investigators are also looking into the roles of other individuals believed to have been involved, including the person who initially approached the victim and those who helped move her to the building.
Further inquiries are ongoing, including efforts to recover the victim’s stolen belongings and establish the full circumstances of the case.
