Melania Trump blasts Donald Trump, says his words were offensive but she accepts his apology
In an email, she said her husband’s comments were unacceptable. Melania Trump is speaking out almost 24 hours after audio of a lewd conversation between her husband Donald Trump and Billy Bush was made public.
“The words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me. This does not represent the man that I know,” she wrote in a statement posted online. “He has the heart and mind of a leader.”

“I hope people will accept his apology, as I have, and focus on the important issues facing our nation and the world. “
“Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago—I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry,”
