Edo State offers N10m reward for info on killers Of Oshiomhole’s slain aide

Edo State Government has offered to pay N10 million reward to anyone with
information that will lead to the arrest of the killers of Olaitan Oyerinde,
principal secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

Announcing the N10 million
rewards in Benin yesterday, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Force
Headquarters, Abuja, Mr. Peter Gana, said no stone would be left unturned to get
the killers of Oyerinde. He disclosed that he was in Benin to complement the

“We have opened three telephone
lines for the public to assist in the investigations. The governor of Edo State,
Adams Oshiomhole has offered a N10 million reward to anyone that can lead to the
arrest of those responsible for the death of the governor’s aide,” he
added.

He gave the telephone lines as Etisalat- 080178624253, Glo
–08158823049 and MTN –0814177026, saying the lines would be active from 3:00 pm
today.
He assured people of the state that the police would do its best to
guarantee the safety of lives of the citizenry.
