Man Burnt To Death For Stealing 3-months Old Baby In Benue State [PHOTOS]

A man was burnt to death yesterday for stealing a 3-month-old baby at Gboko town in Benue State.

There was confusion yesterday Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the busy town of Gboko in Benue state as an angry mob burnt an unidentified young man to death.

According to reports gathered online, the victim allegedly stole a 3-month old baby from a house at Bristow round-about in the area yesterday afternoon.

A source said;

“We just heard the baby’s mother screaming ‘thief, thief’ and we came out only to see the boy running with the baby.

“Some boys in the area collected the baby and started beating him while the others were looking for tyre and calling more people to come out. He was begging and crying but the other boys did not listen,”  the source added.

The incident caused heavy traffic along the road which connects Benue state to Cross River state.
