Hollywood actor Jussie Smollett is now facing a felony charge for claiming that he was a victim of a hate crime he orchestrated for.

Jussie Smollett had told the police that, while walking in downtown Chicago, he was confronted by masked men who hurled homophobic and racial slurs at him, and announced it was “MAGA country,” a reference to President Trump’s campaign slogan.

Investigations revealed that the actual “attackers” are two Nigerian brothers (Abel and Ola Osundairo) were reportedly paid by Smollett to stage the attack.

The Nigerian brothers told cops that the items they used for the Assault was bought was purchased at the Crafty Beaver Hardware Store in the Ravenswood neighborhood. The items were bought at Smollett’s request, he paid for them.

Last night, a video surfaced showing the moment the brothers bought the items in their possession that they supposedly attacked the actor with.

Following the development, the “Empire” actor was charged on yesterday (Wednesday) night with staging the assault he reported to Chicago police in January.

The law enforcement officials have said that a grand jury had heard evidence and that local prosecutors then charged him with a felony count of disorderly conduct.

Smollett’s legal team had yet to speak up as at press time.
