Early this morning, an Ethiopian Airlines plane headed to Nairobi Kenya crashed six minutes after take off.
The plane has 157 passengers on board and they all died at the scene of the accident.
Two Nigerians were on board the ill-fated aircraft. Professor Pius Adesanmi and Professor Abiodun Bashua.
Professor Adesanmi flew using his Canadian Passport that’s why the airline said only one Nigerian was involved.

Professor Abiodun Bashua is a former United Nations(UN) and African Union(AU) Deputy Joint Special Representative in Darfur, Sudan. Aged 68, Bashua was one of the passengers aboard the ill-fated Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed earlier today. He was until his death based in Addis Ababa where he was a consultant on Peace and Security, Strategic Policy, Mediation and Executive Management. Bashua is said to have been the only Nigerian citizen on the plane.
